The Soul Vendor

Another whole heap of work thanks to the deletion of my site.

No contact, no complaint, just...

'BOOM!!!'

..... gone?

I have had contact from some of the artists on here, appreciating my work. I try not to post things that are available to buy so who wants to delete my site... and why?

  1. All posts by myself or Mickey are of singles that are out of production, and no longer available.

It is an invaluable resource for obtaining tracks that you just can't find anymore - music that needs and deserves to be heard.

    WTF?

  3. And that's exactly why I decided not to post anything directly on my blog... and to use FTP with private access...
Mick, if they delete your blog again, you're welcome on mine or on my forum... i will be happy to open for you a private ftp where your work will stay preserved

  4. I could have this blog available by 'invite only' but the whole point of this site is too make this music available to everybody. These 12"s are to good to be lost? :-(

  5. Damn... This is very odd indeed. I never thought blogger could delete a blog without any contact at all?

  7. As you know, I love the blog and really appreciate the effort that goes into your posts (that includes yours as well Kymba!). Don't let them wear you down, mate.

Anon - the only track I know with those lyrics is 'Baby Me' by Chaka Khan from her C.K. album (1988). A wicked track that many people have overlooked.

  12. Thanks ever so much for the comments of support guys n gals - it's really appreciated, and I know Mick will feel just the same.

Regular service (from me) will be resumed shortly - I've had a setback of finding out that the USB turntable I spent £120 for ripping my old vinyl doesn't record in true stereo!! Grrr!

I'll be limited to CD's only for the time being, but I do have some tasty treats for y'all.

In the meantime, I'm feeling the love, people, have some back xxxxxxxx

  13. I'm so sorry to see ya delete this blog again.
    But I understand that's it's a fulltime job.

If you feel it like that but PLEASE do not open a stupid private blog.

The music is universal and for anybody not only for the music geeks.

    Your work was so killah.

And there isn't UK blog as yours.

With Izit, Ray Hayden ... all the british scene.

Thanks again man, hope to see ya back again.

    Cheers.

  19. Mickey's original site has now resurfaced from who knows where? Kymba reposted most of his lost posts on here already, but any others I come across will also be reposted in due course. In the meantime, any old comments can be read on the old blog by clicking on the link below :-
